Three New Associates Join Potter Anderson & Corroon April 2008
WILMINGTON, Del. – Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP is pleased to announce three new associates, Meghan M. Dougherty, Patrick C. Gallagher and Myles D. Roberts, have joined the firm.
Megan M. Dougherty is an associate in the firm's Corporate Practice Group, focusing primarily on corporate litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery. She received her J.D. from the University of Southern California and B.S.F.S., cum laude, from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. Fluent in French, Ms. Dougherty also attended Institute d'Etudes Politiques de Strasbourg and earned a C.E.P.E.
Patrick C. Gallagher is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group, focusing primarily on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery. Mr. Gallagher is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in West Virginia. Prior to joining Potter Anderson, he was engaged in private practice, gaining experience in general litigation in state and federal courts and administrative adjudications in state and federal agencies regulating coal mine safety and health. He received his J.D., cum laude, from the Wake Forest University School of Law and was a member of the Wake Forest Law Review and Moot Court. Mr. Gallagher was also the winner of the Cynthia J. Zeliff Trial Bar Competition for 2004 and a member of Order of the Coif. He received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Elon University, and was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi, Alpha Chi, and Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Societies.
Myles D. Roberts is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. His practice involves counseling Delaware corporations on corporate law and governance issues. Mr. Roberts clerked for Justice Henry DuPont Ridgely of the Delaware Supreme Court from 2005-2006. He is admitted to practice in Delaware and West Virginia. Prior to joining Potter Anderson, he was engaged in private practice, focusing his practice on public finance transactions. Mr. Roberts received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law where he served on the editorial and managing boards of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology. He was a University Honors Scholar at West Virginia University, earning a B.A. in both political science and economics, magna cum laude, and was a member of Pi Sigma Sigma and Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Societies.
