Steven M. Yoder Joins Potter Anderson as Bankruptcy Partner

Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP is pleased to announce that Steven M. Yoder, a bankruptcy and restructuring attorney, has joined the firm as a partner. Mr. Yoder will lead the firm’s representation of debtors and will also represent official committees in large commercial bankruptcies.

"Steve has tremendous debtor experience and an excellent reputation in the bankruptcy community. He will be a great asset to our firm,” said Potter Anderson’s chairman, David B. Brown.

Mr. Yoder’s practice will focus primarily on bankruptcy, restructuring and commercial litigation. He has extensive experience representing debtors, official committees, secured lenders, asset purchasers and other unsecured creditors in large commercial bankruptcies.

Mr. Yoder has been recognized by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers For Business 2007 in the field of bankruptcy/restructuring in Delaware. He will come to Potter Anderson from The Bayard Firm in Wilmington where he has been a shareholder and director since 2003 and part of the firm's Bankruptcy Group since 1999. He graduated magna cum laude from Millersville University with a B.S. in Business Administration/Finance and earned his J.D. from Temple University School of Law. Prior to beginning his career in private practice, Mr. Yoder served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas I. Twardowski, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
