Potter Anderson Partners Appointed to Merit Selection Committee

Two partners from the firm have been appointed by Third Circuit Chief Judge Anthony J. Scirica to the Merit Selection Committee which will make recommendations to the Judicial Council of the Third Circuit concerning the appointment of up to four United States Bankruptcy Judges for the District of Delaware.  Joshua W. Martin III will chair the Committee and Laurie Selber Silverstein is a panel member along with 7 other persons.  These judicial positions are for 14 year terms and all of the judges will be seated in Wilmington, Delaware.  After reviewing the applications, the Committee will conduct interviews of selected candidates and then make its report to the Judicial Council.
